Single Site Specifications

Computer Specs:

  • Windows 2003 Server, Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows 7 (32 and 64 bit),  Windows 2008 Server (32 and 64 bit), or Windows Small Business Server 2011
  • 1.0GHz Processor or better
  • Minimum 1GB RAM
  • CD ROM
  • Serial Port dedicated for CASH+*
  • Telephone System must have SMDR Interface
  • Remote Internet Access (TCP/IP or Modem) for technical support**
  • Minimum 10GB of free hard disk space***


In many cases CASH+ can runs as a service which allows the host computer to be logged off. In other cases it runs as an application. Please call for more details.

CASH+ DOES NOT REQUIRE A DEDICATED COMPUTER.

* ONLY require to collect SMDR/CDR data via RS232; not required if collecting via TCP/IP. A second Serial Port IS required for clients exporting calls to PM Systems
** This is mandatory for all hotels
*** Requirement may vary according to number of extensions and call records.

Telephone Requirements:

In order to receive data from your telephone system, your KEY or PBX system requires CDR (Call Detail Recording) or SMDR (Station Message Detail Recording) output. Some systems offer this as standard equipment while others carry it as an option. Before purchasing PBX Call Accounting software ensure that you have this option.

For Clients using the Mitel SX Systems with a Property Management System module, telephones can be turned off once a specified credit limit is exceeded. CASH+ Prepay can be used by Hotels/Motels, RV Parks and Educational Facilities to control guest access to telephone services.
