CASH+ Call Accounting software helps businesses recover or create revenue. The application now is compliance-tested by Avaya for compatibility with Avaya Communications Manager.

What is a Service?
A service is a method to run a program independently of human inputs. Users aren’t required to turn Services on; they start the moment the computer is powered up. Users can’t turn services off.

Collecting call data from your phone switch is the most important aspect of Call Accounting. Without the data no reports can be generated. When the data collecting program is turned off accidently or the computer is logged off, you lose your data for the time that it’s down. Sometimes this can be hours other times days. Maintaining your collection system is vital. A Service allows a computer program to run without requiring a user to turn it on, and it cannot be shut off. It simply runs invisible to the user and collects the data so long as the computer is turned on. The computer doesn’t even have to be logged on! This new feature makes CASH a leader in the Call Accounting industry.

Furthermore, Services have an added security benefit. If you have the collection service running on a server machine you don’t need to log the server in. This provides an added layer of security for network administrators.

Hansen Software leading the industry is releasing CASH+ Call Accounting with Service for IP capabilities on February 16th, 2009. Existing and new users can take advantage of this exciting new feature at that time. Existing clients with a support package can contact Hansen Software for an upgrade or wait until your next scheduled upgrade. KELOWNA, British Columbia Canada – Hansen Software Corporation, a leading call accounting software manufacturer is excited to announce their CASH+ Call Accounting now interfaces to Cisco’s UC500 phone switch. Hansen Software will soon undergo development to interface with the remaining Cisco PBX product line.

Doing extensive testing and development with a Hansen Software end user we were able to successfully collect data from the Cisco UC500 PBX and filter that data into the CASH+ Call Accounting software package. We are pleased to announce that we are ready to roll out CASH+ for any Cisco UC500 users.

Testing and development has already been scheduled for several more PBXs that Cisco carries. We are very confident and excited that we will be able those clients interoperability with CASH+ in the near future.

What is CommSource?
CommSource is where the Mitel and Inter-Tel partners purchase all their peripheral products, solutions and services. In order to be listed in their internal products price list you must be a preferred vendor and your products must undergo extensive testing by the manufacturer to become a preferred vendor. The partners are then provided very competitive pricing by purchasing through CommSource.

Hansen Software Corp has both the full CASH+ Call Accounting and the CASH+ Lite for hotels available through CommSource for purchase.
